The Stow Community Trust hold monthly board meetings to report on the work of the Trust and it’s members.
1. The Stow Community Trust Meetings has had a very positive start to the New Year with the signing of the contract with Swinton Builders (Hawick) at the end of December and lots of media coverage from the press release that was issued jointly with Scottish Borders Council putting Stow and the Station House firmly on the map. Further publicity is planned once the building work gets underway in February.
2. A meeting with neighbours and other local stakeholders is planned within the next few weeks to provide them with more detail of the building works and timescales. We are anxious that disruption to neighbouring residents is minimised.
3. The Board is now putting plans to procure a lease holder to run the bar/bistro.
